Ginger Hartford Joins Interior Design Society National Marketing Committee for 2025

DALLAS – March 3, 2025 – Ginger Hartford, Senior Director of Business Development – Design at Dallas Market Center and a respected veteran in the fine art and interior design industries, has joined the Interior Design Society’s (IDS) National Marketing Committee for 2025. In this role, she will contribute to key marketing initiatives aimed at strengthening IDS’s reach and impact.

As a member of the IDS National Marketing Committee, Hartford will participate in national meetings and collaborate on special projects designed to elevate the organization’s presence. This year’s initiatives include optimizing the newly launched IDS website, advising strategic paid advertising approaches, and shaping comprehensive branding and marketing plans for IDS special events—most notably, the IDS National Conference.

Hartford joined Dallas Market Center in January 2024, bringing two decades of strategic marketing and international business development experience in the art and interior design industries. Prior to her role at DMC, she led the national growth strategy for ARTISTREE, a Michaels Company spearheading design and product development efforts serving boutique and hospitality design Enterprise partners. Previously, she worked for design and licensing agencies and spent over 20 years with the world's leading manufacturer and distributor, Larson-Juhl. Hartford is also the founder of EurDesign Studio, where she served as Design Principal and Industry Consultant across multiple industries.

"Helping brands and entrepreneurs enhance their skills and unlock marketing resources for growth has always been a passion of mine," said Hartford. "From independent entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and organizations like IDS, I’ve found that everyone shares a common challenge—navigating the demands of modern marketing. Many feel overwhelmed and aren’t aware of the powerful tools and specialists available to them. That’s where I come in—streamlining, simplifying, and demystifying resources tailored for our industry."

For the upcoming Dallas Design Days, April 8-9, Hartford has curated a premier lineup of renowned designers for elevated panel discussions, guided tours, and exclusive events across the Interior Home & Design Center, World Trade Center, and Trade Mart.

The centerpiece event, Dine + Design, presented by Benjamin Moore, will feature a keynote presentation titled Understanding Undertones: The Nuances of Color, led by Hannah Yeo, Senior Manager of Color Marketing & Development at Benjamin Moore. Dallas Design Days will conclude with the official celebration of D Home magazine’s Best Designers 2025 issue, honoring an esteemed group of interior design talent—from internationally recognized icons to rising stars shaping the future of the industry.

The market center hosts four major Total Home & Gift Markets annually, attracting buyers from around the world. In January and June, the venue presents Lightovation, the largest residential lighting trade event in North America, which includes an exclusive Interior Designer Preview Day. The highly anticipated Dallas Design Week and Dallas Design Days, held in the fall and spring, welcome over 1,000 interior designers for multiple days of programming. Additionally, the annual ArchLIGHT Summit continues to grow as a premier lighting trade event and educational resource for the architectural, specification, and design communities.
